Funny to read how people at places like Oxford think old poetry and literature is worth getting excited about. It would obviously be much more important if we could discover the sales receipts from Courtesy Chariots of Alexandria or transactions from the meetings at the Ptolemy Paving Company. And if we could find just the scores of the championship Memphis Eagles, that would be even better.

But how does it contribute to economic development? In a couple of hundred years, what will seem more important -- this news or the development of polymer paint?
