No great loss here, always struck me as a dumb slogan anyhow. Seemed like we were so in need of quality opponents that we would do anything to appease them. Maybe now we can get rid of the slogan and its chief supporter.

The contract was signed before conference re-alignment happened. Because of the change of membership in CUSA, we had to move the game because it created a conflict with the new conference members. Or atleast that's what I was told. The game was not canceled though, just moved back to the end of the decade (Meaning we play them in 2008, 2009 and 2010).

Maybe by then O.J. Simpson will be an assistant coach at USM, and our recruiting pipeline to Parchman will be in full effect.

By golly, if USM can sell its slogan to Auburn, then we should be able to auction off our "NO QUARTER" slogan at the big coming out party. It should bring top dollar!
