I've tried to round up the week's news about USM on Liberty and Power.

Most of the entry is about Richard Crofts and his consultations with stakeholders, but I've also mentioned the Gunther report and Ken Malone's refusal to appear in front of faculty bodies.

I really do hope that the Faculty Senate leadership and others in a position to be heard will put their voices behind the Gunther report. It will not only call attention to the fact that Thames et al. have repeatedly lied about USM's finances, it will put Gregg Lassen, a much slicker operator than either Shelby Thames or Ken Malone, behind the 8 ball.
