Dean Doty just arrived back in Hattiesburg from his interview trip to UNF.  Most of the CoB faculty/staff were there, along with several hundred students and external supporters.  Confetti and banners awaited his arrival -- one read "Doty Don't Go!" and the crowd chanted and cheered him on as he disembarked.  The celebration lasted just over an hour, and was sponsored by local vendors (Mike Anderson's, Coca-Cola, etc.). 

He (Dean Doty) gave a brief speech, retiterating what he wants to see the CoB do (eliminate majors, etc.) in the future, and he promised to stand opposed to Thames at every turn.  Hopefully some of the footage will air tonight on WDAM.
