I'll translate.  Apparently there was an event at the Klumb estate in Alabammy, attended by, among others,  certain Mississippi politicos, prominent bidnessmen, and some IHL members, which after several hours of free-flowing libations, deteriorated (progressed?) into a drunken orgy.  Twas in the wee hours,  not everyone who began the evening remained for the "main events,"  there is no known written account of the affair but possibly some incriminating photos,  and no one in their right mind would ever speak of what transpired.  However, Klumb  knows the particulars and would not/has not hesitated to use this information to his own advantage politically.  In other words,  it's just business as usual in Southern politics.  That's all.
