I have been told by several inside the CoB that as many as 25% of the faculty can leave within two to three years as they complete their years in your PERS retirement system. Maybe many won't be replaced so we can see a reduction in the cost of that place.
It bothers me the way people reveal who is looking for work and where they are being considered. This information can be used to sabotage someone's chances. I figure if it a friend, you want them to be successful in the job hunt. If it is an enemy, you want them to leave. Everyone wins if you keep it quiet until the job is in hand. The business people seem to be the prime offenders. You'll note that the Anne Wallace story was held until she accepted the offer, and yet many evidently knew she was a candidate.
