Black Student Union on Williams?

Just heard that the Black Student Union is meeting Wednesday about the "Alvin Williams situation."  Was told that rumors are swirling that the external constituencies are upset at recent HA reports on "diversification" at USM, and the BSU wants to make sure nothing untoward is afoot in the AW resignation.

The SP knows of the meeting, and will be provided with a statement from the BSU if something is afoot.

What about red headed folks? We need some action to help them.We need a Red Head Student Union. If all the politically correct folks could see how stupid they look,they'd probably remain silent.

It seems to me that this is probably a really good issue for the board to remain silent on. It's a student initiative and just about anything we say is going to upset somebody, so why don't we stay focused on our own issues. Just my $.02 too.
