Thank you for your recent inquiry concering a possible room here at The Shady Rest Retirement Home. I am pleased to report that a room is indeed available and that you are welcome to occupy it at your earliest convenience. In response to your other questions:
(1) No, currently there is no position of "President of Residents," but I see no reason why we could not create such a position for you.
(2) No, the home does not presently own an airplane, but shuttle bus service into downtown Boise is provided on the hour. As you mentioned, Boise is currently undergoing vigorous economic development, and many of our residents sit on benches there for hours watching this process unfold.
(3) No, at present there is no "sports program" per se at The Shady Rest and thus no need for "coaches," although bingo is played each afternoon in the dining facility (pictured below), and, as I mentioned during our phone conversation, shuffleboard competitions do take place daily.
(4) I will need to check with the other residents to see if there is any objection to your idea of changing the term "shuffleboard" to "shuffle the deans."
Please don't hesitate to contact me if I may be of any further assistance.
