I need to look at that one -- haven't seen it recently.
I did a brief gig with them when I was at the in their early days. They didnt carry a lighting designer with them then so since I was the resident LD and TD at the art center I was working at I became the guy on the spot. Now they are BLUE MAN . . then they were just blue man.
Who knew they'd become a mighty engine of economic development?

Yeah -- they were these young, skinny geeky guys spitting paint and drumming like madmen . . . but it was in the latter days of performance art and critical theory -- their gig actually started by deconstructing enteprenaurial artmaking and collecting . . . .
Back then it was still fashionable to see Marxism as a critical tool if not a political ideology . . . now even Fredric Jameson has gotten religion . . .
