Can someone please clarify the violence thing...I must have missed a post.

I know a copy of some of these posts was circulated at the big 'bout it bidness meetin' and, I know someone said he was packing heat in his car because he was afraid of faculty members (lol) BUT

whose posts were circulated...which ones? I saw the message from G. Wash. strat adv. today, but then I read something about Dr. Lares posts??? What did I miss...?

By the way, who takes anything they read with more than a grain of salt on a message board...sure someone calling herself Jameela Lares posts here (and I do believe it is the REAL JL) but it is not necessarily her...I posted a few weeks ago using Shelby Thames as my nom as a joke...I don't think anyone thought Shepoleon was really posting here.

You will therefore be amused to hear that they took you seriously and indicated in writing that Dr. Thames did NOT post to this board.


The danger of irony, I guess, is that some people never get it.  It must be odd going through life with such literal minds.

Oh, forgot to add....I am rather non-traditional so I have been at USM since before Thames became prez.

BTW reporter...are you a reporter? (as goofy as that sounds, it is a serious question :)
