If you are a USM faculty member and want to be involved in a group that will work to beat SFT at his own game, please email me at truth@FireThames.com.  I have an idea that I want to share with you all, but not on the message board (sorry, too many prying eyes from SFT to Bob Mixon on here!).  Please only USM Faculty members respond to this...we'll bring others on board later, I promise.  And please respond only if you are willing to commit publicly to the cause.

Truth4usm/AH, surely you remember this tactic was used last year by those trying to learn the identites of board participants.  How do we know who you are?  Or for those who know your name, how do we know this is you?

People on this board can vouch for me...plenty are already in contact with me personally.  They know my aim is true.


I'm only asking for USM faculty who are willing to make their names public...some have already "come out" publicly on the board.  It's no grand plot, trust me.  Or not.  The choice is yours.

I've been so busy the last couple of days, I finally got around to reading this. 


Dang, I wish I were faculty, I'd love to know what truth4USM has in mind.  Enquiring minds and all that jazz.


To the faculty,


As you know, I'm a true outsider, but I care. This may be your time in which to engage SFT in his own manner, the ole fight fire with fire,  and I'm not sure what she has in mind.  I have been a long time supporter of standing up for what is right, and what is just.  I don't keep quiet when I see an injustice occurring. And neither should you.  When I think about what has happened at USM in the last year or so, my blood boils.  My poor spouse has to listen to my ranting and raving somedays, thank goodness we have a good relationship.  And sometimes, my ranting is about the faculty and how it seems to me that you want to gripe and complain, but when it comes time to take action, you sit on your thumbs.  I have stated before, I understand the fear of retribution, but there does come a time that fear has to be set aside and one must step up to the plate and do what is necessary for the good of all.  You have much at stake here, SACS accrediation, Nursing, COAL, COB, CISE etc etc, you simply cannot sit on your thumbs.  If nothing else, do it for Frank, Gary, Noel, Dr. Barry and the others who have gone before you, fighting and kicking. 


Send Andrea that email, find out what her idea is.  The time to take that action is NOW.
