none of them are anti-Thames. some will stand up when Thames' actions threaten their career potential outside of USM. Doty is one of those.

When you issue a public challenge to Jay Grimes and Ken Malone after they order professors in your college to stop doing basic research, you're anti-Thames.

When you get Richard Crofts to come in and order Shelby Thames to retract a direct order that threatens your college, you're anti-Thames.

When Thames is so mad at you that he won't attend a ceremony marking a major gift to your college, you're anti-Thames.

When Thames is going to be out to get you for the rest of his life, you're anti-Thames.

Oh wait, wait -- I have it! You marry Stephen, and give him your money, and then I'll have you sent away to some department you never heard of, and then I'll marry him for YOUR money. Brilliant. Is that not an absolutely Malone-esque plan? I knew I was at the right place.
