Ever since I was a little boy mama, all you done was compared me to David Tisdale.

If you're going to take cheap shots at someone, please see that they are based in fact.  Mapp wrote for one newspaper (the Hattiesburg American) for about three years and left only when he was offered the position with USM's PR department--hardly "run off" by any loose interpretation of the phrase.  To quote Uma Thurman from Pulp Fiction, "when you scamps get together, you're worse than a sewing circle."
