Mistake all around.  I think he would be chewed up and spit out by all sides.  Spokesperson for this administration has to be a tough, tough job.  No way does he have the experience or maturity to do this job.

Is the job to be SFT's spokesperson, or the university's spokesperson? And what skilled professional would want the job, unless they were a masochist or really, really loved a challenge?

Why would Mickey be such a surprise?  Name me a few SFT hires that have been fully qualified for the job appointed.

Been a while since I posted last. Here's a "conspiracy theory" for you.

Suppose Mader went back to work in Jackson and will handle (in part) Bryant's PR. USM gets Bryant's PR man, Bullock. However, Bullock will be a mouthpiece or parrot, repeating lines written for him by .....Mader! She can remain on the USM payroll as a consultant, drawing 2 checks and getting out of Dodge. It's a win-win for everyone. Mader officially gets out of USM and gets more money. Bullock gets a more high-profile job and a chance to learn from the spin doctress. Thames gets PR with a new, USM-family face attached. Bryant gets a real PR person.

Or, there is another option. They could promote from within which would make Chris Mapp a prime suspect.  Sources close to the department have told me that Mapp is in charge of hiring and firing. If Mapp gets the job consider his lips firmly attached to Shelby's buttocks.

And Jana Bryant is the new "Reporter" for the PR Department. Again sources close to the department have confirmed this as well.

T-Bird....you have no idea how right you are. Mapp was run off from two newspapers that I know of because of his "charming" personality.

rather than "charming" you might use other words not so charming that would be better suited to mapp

Merv's Mama, then he's not got a prayer of getting the job. Wonder if he'd even want it.

Lets hope lisa is gone for good.  Does she understand how much people dislike her ugly big nosed a$$.  The word is from the Foundation that not only did she get a raise but they paid for a consultant to come in and manage her office for her.

I have worked with Tisdale on a couple of occasions. He was easy to deal with. He knows how to use a telephone and call one someone back, which is more than I can say for others in that office.

I know Lord Vader and, for the life of me, I don't understand why Tisdale would want to call him back.
