The 251st ranked USM Golden Eagles are about to take the floor for the last time this season against the TCU Horned Frogs. Sources close to the C-P Report say this could very well be the final game as USM's head coach for LE. We'll certainly remain on top of that story as it develops. We would say that we aren't too surprised to hear speculation that this is it for Eustachy. He seems to be coming apart at the seams.
I don't think they necessarily mean he will get fired. He might simply go haywire and leave town without telling a soul. One of his assistants did that to him early in the season.

You maybe closer to the basket than you think. Nothing would surprise me with LE. Larry knows basketball, but there seems to be something else going on with him rather than BB.
If a person is coming apart at the seams, then coming to work in a high-profile position at an institution that is coming apart at the seams would seem to be a bad idea. The combination of personal and institutional stress would be too much for most people. Let's wish him well, and hope it all works out for him.
USM was the only I-A program in the state that didn't have any programs in trouble (by trouble I mean the NCAA's 925 standard). One of about 4-6 in conference USA that didn't have any programs in trouble. Was in yesterday's papers.
