Please don't say anything that could possibly offend anyone who may happen to read this board. Don't make fun of anyone. Don't argue or pose an opposite viewpoint. Don't question anyone about their stance on anything. Most of all, don't attempt to use "black humor," and by using the phrase "black humor," I am not making a racial remark. Just repeat over and over: "I love you."
These rules apply to everyone equally, of course, even Shelby Thames, Ken Malone, and all of the others you insensitive people have ridiculed over the past 8+ months on this board and the fireshelby board.
Man, you guys have zero sense of humor. This was a response to the "When Shelby Finally Leaves" thread's politically correct turn of events. Get that Flit out of here.

I realize this thread was troll born, but it raises questions that have been on my mind.
Where did the notion of "political correctness" come from? Is it a synonym for "civility"? If George W. Bush just got elected POTUS by embracing and espousing conservative Christian values, doesn't that make conservative Christianity politically correct? (I am assuming that political success equals political correctness, of course. Any other political course would go the way of the Shakers.)
Or is "politically correct" just code talk used to ridicule positions and causes that are traditionally perceived to be "liberal"?
BTW, my moniker is in no way intended to be offensive to that poster known as The Rock. I was Dumb first.
I didn't that that first post as trollish. I thought it was someone trying to be sarcastic or ironic or funny. Probably didn't come across as sharp as they meant it to. (Don't feel bad, Gen, you gotta remember the caliber of the competition on this board.)

Hey, I didn't really think that Gen's post was very trollish, but I just found this great archive of Dr. Seuss' Flit advertisements.
Somebody needs flit, they probably need a laugh, too.

LVN, do you suppose that O Henry and I mistook an innocent lurker for a troll? Not to worry. The Flit that O Henry uses does have an antidote: a good sense of humor.
