Anyone who thinks that SFT and crew is going to tread lightly so as not to make a fool of themselves again, hasn't read one of the 17000 brochures being mailed from continuing ed. This brochure focuses on the partnership between the Coast campus and businesses on the coast. It prominently states the the new MBA at Jackson County is being delivered now (which it is, mainly via IVN) and the coming Casino Management degrees. The Casino Management degrees are currently illegal, and the COB only approved those degrees "subject to pending legal actions". Of course, when have Kenbot and his group ever been interested in the important details.
You may be astonished but I am confused! I thought the 17,000 brochures were the IDV ones previously discussed as plagiarized and destroyed. Are you referring to these or to different ones?
These are NOT the ones destroyed. New crop, several pages. Calls on the business community to partner with USM-GC to increase the proportion of population with degrees. Talks about inviting USM-GC into businesses to provide in-house degree programs (has recently been announced for nursing), and a sidebar has new programs introduced in 2004 (including the Jackson county MBA) and the 2005 coming attractions (a number of new programs, including many economic development graduate degrees and the 2 casino and resort management programs which are in legal limbo).
