Interesting that in the HA editorial on the same page but on a different subject, there is this line:

"Moreover, using non-recurring revenues to fill gaps in the budget is an irresponsible way to govern."

Relevant? I just don't believe in coincidences...sorry.

This is one of the best letters I have read about USM in the entire past year. It makes its points quite powerfully and in ways "the public" should be able to understand. Great job!

Fabulous letter!! Clear, concise, and directly to the point. It explains the situation to those people who may not understand or appreciate the dynamics of a university but can most certainly relate to wasted tax dollars.
