Ken Malone, one of Shelby's friends, was fired by Saunders from the position of the Director of the Trent Lott Center (that huge building under construction on 49).

He announced it to faculty sometime last week, so it's public information.

The Trent Lott Center is a mystery within itself.

#1 - A building which needs a director?

#2 - What is going to be located in this new building?

#3 - A new building which will not be complete once it is open?  (The last I heard, there was only enough funding to complete the 1st floor.)

For all that, Old Miss still gets all the PR.  You think Trent worked to get the presidential debate at any other school than OLD Miss?  Everybody else just sucks up, but still plays second fiddle.  The IHL either wants all campuses to be branches of Old Miss.  If that can't be done, then they will focus all opportunities on Old Miss.  Think about it.  Still sleeping out there?
