Speaking of scandals reminded me of a winning idea the administration was pursuing a while back (1.5 years ago).
Apparently, SFT was actively seeking to end the feral cat problem on campus. From a source who handled an actual memo about the subject, I understand poisoning was one of the options considered, among other mouse-trap-style contraptions.
I assume the idea died quietly, because I never heard anything else about it. I wished someone would have broken the story, because a "feral cat scandal" would have been hilarious.
Did anyone else hear about this? Did it actually happen, and no one said anything? Has anyone noticed a dearth of cats on campus lately?
