If we want to be at 20,000 and State wants to be at 20,000, that means that between the two we need to scrape up roughly 10,000 more bodies (FTE-wise, not discrete people?? Or are we talking unduplicated headcount??) In any case, are there really that many available students out there?? It seems like an unrealistic goal for either school.
Ah Ha!! If the business students are housed at USM, are part of MSU, but take core classes at USM, will both universities count them? Transfer a few more colleges over to MSU and both universities can be at 20,000!
