Actually Mr. Wonderful, I like this part.
I made a B in Chemistry in about 1976--should I know what the poster's name means?

Two things I heard today from the business building, both from students.
First, there was some kind of near-catastrophic pipe-bursting incident on the third floor of Greene Hall, directly above the dean's office suite. Don't know if Doty's 'do got drowned, but workers apparently were mopping up inches of water from a mechanical closet floor.
Second, Doty was walking around the third floor, and the student said she rarely sees the dean on the third floor, where faculty offices are located. Word has it that ED moved out of Greene Hall today to their new digs in the International Building. Doty was seen going from office to office, but I don't know for sure if there was a gloat factor involved (getting ED out) or if he was discussing other matters. Will check other, more reliable, sources ASAP.
The bursting pipes in JGH remind me of that excellent German film Das Boat. These submariners go through heck and back, bursting sides and pipes in dub dog fights, etc. They actually make it back to port fairly intact. Then at the very end, they get bombed and blown up in their supposed safe haven. We're damged, and even if we do make it out of this somehow, then the next buffoon will come along and sink us once and for all.
The bursting pipes in Greene Hall remind me of the recent 'transfer' of Criminal Justice to COS&T, with their physical relocation to Walker Science Building. CJ faculty had barely moved into the second floor of WSB when a rainstorm showed the inefficiency of a recent contracted roofer -- 6 inches of water in hallways and faculty offices made for a real "welcome to COS&T." Wonder if that's why Don Cabana left after only one year . . .
