There are accents far more difficult to understand than those in Mississippi.

I mean Parisian, not Paresian. As you might suspect, I had to take the French reading knowledge examination for my Ph.D. twice before passing it.

So did I, Boudreaux.  That Cajun didn't pass for a "scientific" language when I was in grad school.

Malopropism,

First, let me apologize for using your screen name in my previous posts.  MAL are the initials of my name as you rightly mentioned.  I will be reading your board now that I know about it, but will probably not intrude upon your professional conversations.  You certainly do not need this to become a political arena, for while I consider myself a public servant, most would simply call me a "politician".  I left my job as assistant principal to a large degree for the purpose of becoming a greater influence for education in this state.

I will trust that, if any of you would like to talk with me personally, you will use the info I gave you to contact me by phone or email, as a few of you have already done.

As I continue to read the comments on the message board, I will heed your wise advice at the end of your last post.

A late entry for the word games: The proper spelling for a word used occasionally on this board is supersede.  See at http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=supersede.
