Have you notice how little the Sun Herald has mentioned about USM's the SACS problem?

Except for SFT's editorial  and their editorial saying some were "jumping the gun" in baming Thames, all I coud find was this piece of news.

An excerpt about the Harrison County Development Commission (HCDC)

reads:

"HCDC also accepted a proposal from the University of Southern Mississippi to prepare the group's annual report. Commissioner Richard Bennett voted against giving the $17,500 contract to USM, saying the university should not be competing with private businesses."

I guess if you run it like a "business" (a bad one) then you need to compete with business.

"They need to start running this business like a university."

There is a definite love-fest between Sun Herald and SFT.  It has come up on this board before.

I'm all out of words, what was it Stinky said, "thread bare"?  So, anyway, this post is nothing more than an N d'A alternative to SACS on the Beach, which was quite clever.
