Thanks for the newspaper.

I expect that someone will have to restrain foot soilder as he attempts to strangle me, I will probably deserve it, but never the less.

Unlikely, Seeker. I'm generally opposed to violence. And I suspect you would be very surprised if you were ever to meet me.
In defense of New Adjunct, I would like to point out that you probably shouldn't assume that any academic who doesn't have a tenure-track job is somehow unqualified. Over half of the jobs in academia are now "contingent"--meaning, part-time or adjunct, NOT tenure-track. Many employees in such jobs don't have offices, phones, or computers. Many do not have health-insurance. Some drive between several universities and teach numerous classes for almost no money. The competition for academic jobs is extremely fierce, and many people who want to stay in academia are forced to take such positions. Does this mean they are underqualified? Not at all.

Thanks for the good word, foot soldier, but he shouldn't even assume that I'm an academic!
