Richard G. was on TV about 15 minutes ago looking defeated and saying the 60% super majority was a tough hurdle. He thanked supporters and said it wasn't over but it sounded as if it was.

Now that the election is over, when does the NON voter killing begin? Maybe I am being too literal? As a pacifist, I had trouble with this pro voting slogan. Any one else?

Are you making reference to the "Vote or Die" slogan coined by that great thinker P. Diddy? While not exactly a slogan, I was more intrigued by the widely publicized claim of Cameron Diaz, another giant intellect, that a Republican victory would result in the legalization of rape. These folks should spend more time mastering the art of independent critical thought, and less in the propagation of pharmaceutically fueled demagogic blather.

And, LV, you should realize that actors and rap stars don't speak for all progressive liberals anymore than giant "intellects" like Alan Keyes and Jerry Falwell speak for all true conservatives.

My, aren't we testy today? I didn't suggest that any of those folks speak for anyone, or for any particular group, but they do receive a disproportionate amount of attention and airtime, and in so doing, make the candidates and positions they purport to represent look very foolish. I stand by my earlier, non-partisan comments concerning Mr. Diddy and Ms. Diaz.

Invictus, in answer to your question, I believe Cameron Diaz is now on the ADP's short list of candidates for president, owing to her 7+ years experience in economic development and her ability to draw a crowd. Not to mention her towering intellect.

I was hoping that Mrs. Cooley would surface and get the ADP job. Perhaps she is one of the candidates that is "confidential."

What's happened to Mrs. Cooley? Wasn't she great with child when last heard from? Can we get an update from Judge Cooley's Risk Manager? The Judge, his bride, his Risk Manager, they all seem to have disappeared. Witness Protection Program?
