According to anonymous sources, a professor in accounting ("He who must not be named") got an additional course load reduction (down to zero classes) with the expectation of doing _real_ research and regaining AQ status. Incidentally, he is also forbidden of getting anywhere near Greene Hall. Perhaps Framer can tell us more?
that's consistent with the 3:43 run today of the class schedule guide on the registrar's page. his name is not on two sections where it previously was.

OK, so "where" does this edict come from?? From the interim Dean or from Dr. Saunders... where? I am all for "he who must not be named" being academically left in the cold, dark ground somewhere below the South pole, but I wonder under what authority it was finally done. However it was done, Congratulations! I hope to never be spammed, emailed, snail mailed, etc., again by a certain freakazoid, who I also will not name, but one in the same.
I would suggest that a decision to fire a tenured faculty member (given our history) would not be made without the endorsement of legal counsel, the president and the Commissioner.

Uh, I'm a little bit confused about that "fire a tenured faculty member" comment. Are you equating the course load reduction, etc. with firing, or were there other developments not posted here?
No other developments as far as I know. I assumed from earlier posts that a faculty member is being given a chance to be AQ and that if he or she doesn't, they would no longer hold faculty status. Given our history, I doubt a dean would do that without agreement from above.
