PEER COMMITTEE PROBE: Advertising contracts


The Legislative PEER Committee is investigating state expenditures and/or contractual relationships between state agencies, including educational institutions, involving the following seven advertising companies: CFO Publishing; Commnet Marketing; Covello Group; Frontier Strategies; Godwin Group; Ramey Agency; and TeleSouth Communications.

The existence of a PEER probe does not and should not imply wrongdoing on the part of any of these companies or their personnel. The PEER has reviewed such expenditures in the past (including those made by state agencies at The Clarion-Ledger, but not on such a narrow scale.
