..."The Gulf Coast has changed a lot in the last couple of years. The demographics have changed, the needs have changed and the business has changed.  We're going to do a thorough review of what's needed here," says Dr. Saunders.

Saunders says the university will not lower its standards at the Gulf Park campus as it moves forward in building Cross Creek. She says a diverse class line-up will differentiate the two coast campuses without hurting quality.

"Our vision for the new campus is unique programs, programs you don't have on the Hattiesburg campus and programs you don't have anywhere else on the coast," says Dr. Saunders. ...
