Wasn't this Bud Ginn's position?

I have no idea, but was just amazed that the position was actually posted on the job board (as opposed to someone magically appearing from, say, Jackson for instance.)

Bud Ginn was the legislative liaison; however, this position is seeking an executive assistant who also will take a lead role in the creation of communication plans related to the duties of the President.

The position announcement states this individual will work in collaboration with the marketing and public relations director, which suggests to me that in this administration, the MPR director will not be the one designing the president's communications.

Off topic, but amusing none the less. Went to the job postings from LVN's link, then poked about a bit and came across one from the wurl crass polymer group for a multimedia specialist. Big requirement was "Excellent skills in ... MS-DOS 6.22...".

Obviously the gnome's crew doesn't know that we passed Y2K, MS-DOS was phased out by the mid 1990's. What kind of decrepit thimking machines are deh running over dere?

I believe this position is the one held by Larry LeFlore toward the end of the Lucas era then Anthony Harris under Fleming. When SFT entered and booted Harris, Cynthia Moore became the de facto Exec. Asst. but with the title of Assoc. Provost.

Under Dr. Lucas the position was held by Gen. Roger Johnson, Ithink.

I saw that one several days ago.  It's one of the odder sets of job duties I've seen in a while.  They're asking for some high level skills, such as maintaining equipment and web pages and, oh yes, type and answer the phone.  Unless the phone only rings once or twice a day, that's not a combination that's attractive to most people.

Johnson had the spot under McCain and the first third or so Lucas' term. He retired in 1982.
