"Retirement is not on the University of Southern Mississippi presidents agenda, even in the twilight of his administration. To be sure, Thames is arriving at work a little later (8 a.m.) and getting in bed a little earlier (hes shooting for midnight these days), but he is as hands-on as ever in university business large and small and looking forward voraciously to getting back to his polymer science research and economic development work."

And I thought it was the faculty that were "exceedingly eager" for him to return to Poly Science.  If we only knew, it could have been arrange years ago.smile
