Presidential prospects to visit Alcorn, USM in April
In early April, the two leading contenders for presidential vacancies at the University of Southern Mississippi and Alcorn State University will visit the campuses.
College Board members will soon invite their “preferred candidate’’ for the presidency at USM to visit the Hattiesburg campus April 5, two days after Alcorn’s top prospect comes to the Lorman campus.
Southern Miss students, faculty, staff, alumni and other constituents will attend sessions with the candidate.
Today, a handful of USM candidates stopped in Jackson at the Universities Center for a final round of interviews with board members, representatives of a USM panel and Higher Education Commissioner Tom Meredith....
