Stadium expansion date set

Expansion to the south end zone of M.M. Roberts Stadium will begin April 10 and is scheduled to be completed Aug. 1, 2008, University of Southern Mississippi officials said Friday.

"This is, in my opinion, a monumental day at this university and especially in the history of athletics," Southern Miss President Shelby Thames said....

Might someone point out to dear Dick that "build it and they will come" is not an "analogy"? Nah, why risk tampering with the fantasy that luxury boxes will keep "transient students" on campus for weekend games?
