I'd like to thank the person who pointed out to LM at the PC that when she uses the word "we" she is implying that she represents the faculty when in fact she is not. She represents only one person - Shelby Thames. I have gotten so tired of her press releases where instead of saying Thames, she says "we".
After today, from what I've read, I imagine Shelby will be scrambling up a new committee - is there anyone on left on campus who will serve his needs? (Perhaps he could just go down to Walmart and buy several mirrors and put them in the chairs instead).

According to the Hattiesburg American, the person you are thanking must be faculty senator and PC member Ray Folse. Stephen Judd also implies this in the thread "Reports on PC Meeting". It appears most of the faculty members deserve credit for a job well done.
Duely noted!! Thank you Ray Folse for speaking up for integrity and against injustice. I have admired your letters to the various papers and your unwavering stance for what is truly best for USM. I wasn't surprised when I saw that it was you in the paper. You and Larry Meade (both from the same dept.) exemplify what constitutes engaged and involved faculty.
