The most experienced and qualified person to fill in on an interim basis is probably Stan Hauer.

True--or perhaps Maureen Ryan. But it will never happen.

Needless to say, this was a shock to everyone in the College of Arts and Letters and the university.  It should serve as a reminder that any of us could be gone tomorrow.  We need to live each day as if it were our last.

Even though individuals within the College did not agree with all of his decisions, no administrator can keep everyone happy all of the time.  My dealings with Dr. Pood were pleasant.  Mrs. Pood is an extremely nice person.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Pood family.

A tragic loss, anyway you look at it.
