I have heard through the grapevine that the deadline for completing the faculty FAR report has been extended until some time in January.  Can anyone confirm this and provide the actual deadline?

One can only hope that this waste of time and affront to standard evaluation processes will die a natural death when the current megalomaniacal administration fades into obscurity.

My chair wrote in an email to the faculty today that the deadline had been extended to Jan. 15.

Faculty Senate made this request in a meeting with the President several weeks ago and he agreed to discuss the issue with Joan Exline and the Provost. At our meeting with the Provost and Joan earlier this week they confirmed the deadline had been extended and would be putting out an announcement shortly.

I have confirmed with my dean's office (who confirmed with Dr. Exline's office) that the deadline has been extended until January 15, 2007.
