Thank you Ma'am.  I suppose it's good to be back home in Austin,  but to the consternation of friends and relatives,  my heart remains in muggy Mississippi.  Speaking of muggy, I just returned from a short consulting gig at the Houston Medical Center, and whilst there, did have occasion to enjoy an adult beverage with my well placed UH acquaintance.  I can attest, albeit second hand, that the percs expected by the incoming UH-V prez are many. However,  he's unlikely to be accomodated by the very capable UH Chancellor. Those who've met Uncle Tim are reserving judgement about his imperious manner,  but my friend predicts he'll either change his style soon,  or have a very short tenure in Victoria.  I think he'll change, at least long enough to have a presidential feather in his cap before making another run at the top USM post.  I understand, from a "reliable" source, that a triumphant return to Hattiesburg is still his ultimate goal, whenever Thames finally departs.
