Er, if you want to make a claim, might you supply some specifics to support it? I love seeing the Latin, of course, but as you surely know, quotations won't argue for you unless they are loci communes (commonplaces) with which everyone in a community agrees. And for that they'd need, for openers, to be in the common tongue.

(I'm truly sorry if I sound pedantic. I get that way when composing syllabi.)

CEDRIK, if you're trying to impress with your knowledge of Latin, it doesn't impress me. We did translations at that level when I took 2nd year Latin (and, by the way, I went to high school in Mississippi).
