NEW CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT RE: ACADEMIC FREEDOM

I  understand new legislation will be introduced during the 2005 legislative session.  The new legislation requested by USM will seek a constitutional amendment expand laws related to academic freedom for USM Professors to allow for shared governance and also tighten up laws pertaining to tenure.


The new legislation will be called "THE CRY BABY AMENDMENT."

Regarding the "Cry Baby Amendment," Is this bill being proposed by Pappa Doc or Baby Doc?
