The state College Board, under the leadership of IHL Commissioner Tom Meredith, will apparently continue the policy of secrecy employed during the presidential search at Mississippi State in the upcoming presidential searches at Alcorn and USM....
... secrecy empowers Meredith and his handpicked consultant, Jan Greenwood, to control the search process...
...sorry policy....
...The fact that Foglesong's secret selection turned out well doesn't justify keeping the taxpayers in the dark during the process. The screening process that Meredith set up at MSU was a dog-and-pony show, nothing more or less. Foglesong has already been annointed long before he was "screened."
Alcorn and USM stakeholders deserve better than this.
