1. Seems a misunderstanding of sorts from the last mill.  TH is considering "leaving behind" a couple of boxes of goodies.  His named would not be linked to them, as the info contained there would be leaked out over the course of months and year(s) to come.  He would have been all but forgotten.  What will be contained there?


Notes on the JB contract situation and SFT's related plan


Info on HD that CBED faculty would be interested in hearing about


Details that would "further" exonerate FG and GS


Notes on SFT's ideas about raises and "friends"


....and so much more ....


2. Football season hasn't started but football recruiting is an ongoing process.  mclubber and baller have relayed stories indicating that our C-USA bretheren "finally" can hint to recruits that JB may not be around much longer and have it believed (to some degree).  Look for this to be used in the upcoming wars.  Thanks mclubber and baller.


3. News is coming out about the COAL evaluation "scheme."  It has been suggested that someone in COAL simply post the ratings on this board.  Please feel free to do so.  The mill has word that very few people in COAL will be getting one of the raises this year.  Thanks artsy.


4. Word leaking out that HD plans a widespread raise in the CBED.  Still waiting on info.  Thanks compaq.  envelope indicates that CBED workers will be scrutinizing any info they get very carefully.  Unlike Pood who has (apparently) releases ratings info, don't expect Doty to reveal anything about how raises were decided.  Thanks envelope.


5. Little rumblings about raises in the COST.  grapevine suggests that this simply means more friends and cronies.

Guru, as has already been disclosed, Doty's gone...fired on Friday.  Don't expect any information, raise or otherwise, to be coming out of the CBED.

Are you sure you are not confusing a week of vacation with his firing? It may be true, but someone's blind post is not enough proof for me, or many, many others in the CBED. Since Dr. Thames is a red-blooded American, why doesn't he announce the firing now? No one could stop him. Many would thank him.

Consiglieri knows HD is still in the job and will be so next week when he returns from vacation.  Consiglieri also knows that the associate dean will not be moving up to the dean position but will be moving out to chair economics.  Consiglieri is having fun at your expense.
