"Since the kangaroo court of Professors Glamser and Stringer, USM students have not felt as safe. Without a court-ordered warrant, President Shelby Thames instructed the staff of Information Technology, the on-campus technical security team, to break in to the e-mail accounts of those professors and some students. I don't think anyone knows who all's accounts were broken into. But if Thames could do it without a court order, what's to stop I.T. staff?"

While I am not yet ready to make the conspiracy theory leap that Mr. Tyner does, I have often marvelled at the surreal similarities between Bush's and Thames's management styles.  Not to mention their blind faith in "economic development" as be all and end all of human life and their anti-intellectualism.
