First, you're doing a great job keeping up with the faculty/staff who have retired/left USM.
My question: How do your numbers for this year compare with those who retired/left USM in years prior? I recall some discussion on the board about the numbers from this year and comparison to years before the SFT administration. Have you (or anyone) come up with the numbers so we can get an idea just how many have left during the Thames years and Fleming (and Lucas' last year) (I know this went to a second question, but I'll stop after this)
Green Hornet, I don't believe the faculty departures are as many this year as two years ago. Truth is putting together a list of everyone who has left under Thames.

Sorry, I've dropped the ball on that one...will work on it next week.

"...Dr. Thames gave the following data regarding faculty departures since 1999, courtesy of Mr. Russ Willis, head of Human Resources:
1999-2000 78 faculty departures (12%) 2000-2001 110 faculty departures (17%) 2001-2002 107 faculty departures (16.5%) 2002-2003 112 faculty departures (17%) 2003-2004 58 faculty departures (9%) ... Dr. Middlebrooks asked whether information is available on staff turnover. Dr. Thames reported the following statistics relevant to staff departures over the same period:
