Trivial Pursuit - The FireShelby Version

If Lessons from Mama were still posting, LfM might say that Mama advised a diversion when the children started bickering.  Sounds like it has been too long a summer already so time to pull out another game.

No fair for those with access to FireShelby Records - let's do this from memory.

Whose data did Iddad criticize?

Wasn't it the LSU student who did the statistical study for the FS website?

So many attempts have been identified which seemed to "doctor up" or otherwise "enhance" various sorts of data (e.g, enrollment figures, salaries, other) that I have no idea which data set you are talking about here. Lots of things seem to have been washed over in a strange sort of way. Tell us. Don't make us guess.

PBN, I believe this question about data is specifically for the older board members who remember the Fire Shelby days and the poster "Iddad" who never seemed to make it over to the AAUP board.  My guess about this one is above.

I agree with Truth - it was the LSU student's statistical study.

Here's my question for FS Trivial Pursuit:  what was the name of the graduate student in the famous H'burg American photo who was thrown out of a USM basketball game in March for holding up a SFT protest sign?

CORRECT, Swan Song and T4USM - think it was actually LSU Graduate Student, but that's close enough.  As first winner, Truth gets to ask the next question (and already did) so now I have to put my thinking cap on and play - Truth will determine the winner - see, won't this be fun?!

I guess it is really my turn again anyway - you have to answer a question correctly in order to ask a question.

2 point question...

Who has an african grey and what does it do to upbeat music?

Haven't seen hide nor hair of him....what is the fate of Mrs. Cooley?  Wasn't she last seen in somewhere on campus?  Isn't she "in the family way?"

Very good Stickler and Riddler.  First one back gets to ask a question - Swan Song, you get to ask one too for your confirmation above.

What was subject of the first FireShelby thread to move to a second page of postings?

As the bird's owner - I didn't participate. But, watch out for me now.  This is one great challenge of a question.

I know that I'm right and since I have adult onset ADD and don't have time for confirmation let me ask my question.

By what nickname was Shelby known and bothered in his earlier life?

Nice assist by removed student but Googler has it.  Googler gets to ask a question.

Broom Hilda, it really is proper form to wait until I return from dinner - ADD or not!  That said, it is nice to see you back - it has indeed been a long time!
