I know that one of the owners (Clint somebody, I think) wrote a stupid letter to the editor that could be interpreted as minimizing the significance of low faculty morale. On the other hand, Robert St. John has been very supportive of the Gifted and Talented Programs administered by Dr. Karnes. I think Lisa Slay Mader and others of the henchcrew hang out there, or did at one time.

Are there other factors that I should consider when I am going out to eat?

Gurunuburg "brought it up." Who are you to decide what "scenarios" (sic) are tired? Don't like a thread topic, don't read it. You sure don't have to post to it.

Who said anything about anyone "telling" someone where to eat? I simply asked a fairly simple, civil question about which you apparently inferred something that took you off on an unsupported tangent.

People make their own choices....

They sure do, and some people provide information rather than commentary when asked.

I'm sorry if I came off as glib and/or dismissive. If you had been around for the old days (only a few months ago!) on the FireShelby board, you would know that we went round and round on this one. People were talking about boycotting businesses that wrote pro-SFT letters to the editor, etc. and wanting a list of names/businesses. Many of us (myself included) felt that it was up to individuals to make the decision of where to spend their $$, and we shouldn't promote boycotting anyone. So, that's what I'm referring to. Some of us who've been around these boards awhile have seen the same topics rear their heads time and time again, and therefore have little patience with them. Sorry if my impatience gave you the wrong impression.
