No tears, congradulations are in order. I have accepted a position with a consultanting firm in Richmond, VA.
As many of you didn't realize, I am not a teenaged student. I returned to Southern Miss after being in the job force for a number of years. I was in a master's program here, but this is an opportunity I could not pass up. I may continue my masters studies at the University of Richmond. If references are needed I will direct them here.
Over the weekend my wife and I will be begining to move. This afternoon, the computer must be taken down and boxed away. I may stop back in when I get settled, but I'll remember you all with love, especially you Andrea.
Seeker, congrats on your job. Try to refrain from making misogynistic comments about single working mothers and from giving inappropriate legal advice, and you'll go far. Oh, and make sure you have a dictionary with you...and a spell-checker on your computer.
Congratulations, Seeker. I enjoyed interacting with you on this message board. The state to which you are moving has a great system of public higher education. I read in the newspaper that the school from which Frank Glamser received his master's degree, Virginia Tech, became a member of the ACC athletic conference just today. The private university you are going to attend, the University of Richmond, has an outstanding academic reputation. I am envious! When you finish your program-of-study there, get some experience in whatever your field of endeavor, and move back to Mississippi to help us out. Again, congratulations!
