This is a great country. Even nut cases get their day in Court.
Twenty-plus years ago, Barrett was beating this same drum in Jackson every chance he got -- uh -- took. I'm trying to recall any time that one of his arguments was well received by anyone with legal authority. While I cannot say with absolute certainty that he always fell flat on his face, he generally did. It hardly matters; he was never playing to the court, but to the crowd.
Unfortunately, he is not the only one to take that tack.
