I don't see any links to faculty information or faculty email addresses. Administration trying to limit access to faculty?

Rumor has it that Doty is so mad at one of the CBED faculty who asks too many questions that he absolutely refuses to use the US mail to communicate with him. I heard that Doty has been told about a dozen times that the guy isn't on campus this summer and he's still putting stuff in his department mailbox. Doty even gives the guy deadlines knowing he probably won't see them.

I know, he's working on finding a stamp.

Hmm...I interpreted the message differently from ewe (!) - assumed Robert meant still don't like the vita but at least there wasn't a website sanitization conspiracy...I thought it was more along the lines of damning with faint praise...sort of like "you smell better than a billy goat"...

What Harold Doty has done with his vita isn't a misrepresentation. It's just considered poor form to lump published articles and unpublished conference presentations together.

So the situation with his vita is not comparable to the situation with AD's.

What's more, I don't work for USM. So the comparisons to FG and GS are far-fetched.

Consider the rumor confirmed. I was at Crescent City today and overheard a couple of business faculty discussing the situation...from what I gather, the disgruntled faculty member has the "water over a rock" mindset...he's willing to work slowly, but will eventually wear HD down.

Doty has been CBED dean for a year now. CBED is still operating with iterim chairs. Enrollment for the fall appears to be down. Pretty much any competent faculty who isn't neck deep in the state retirement system has either left or is looking to leave. From Doty's perspective, it appears that the faculty doesn't matter; the students don't matter. As long as Doty and his cronies get what they want, everything is perfect.

What a disaster!
