The stuff about the professorships in business will be interesting.  For some periods the McCarty Chair was unoccupied, allowing WG and FN to raid the funds.  Also, a marketing professor now holds the International Business professorship --- marketing and IB aren't even in the same department.  The former chair, or soon to be former chair, of accounting is soon to get the Morgan Professorship, and without any scholarly activity.


What do they do with the booze accounts?  HD and FN have been on 3 different continents in the past 6 weeks.  It's a great job if you can get one.

I am recommending to my company that it withdraw from BAC (Business Advisory Counsel) and make it's donations elsewhere. I will not give another dime to this school. Disgusting.

I feel the same way. When a dean can brag -- with no repercussions -- about using Foundation money as a booze account, things are way out of hand.

The Foundation should be in the crosshairs.  I hope the University learns a lesson in honesty and integrity.  I doubt that it will happen since the people at the top are so used to taking what they want with no real repercussions.

Administrators have and will always abuse their power. When some administrators are as stupid as Doty, then they get themselves into trouble. There has been mismanagement of accounts at the USM Foundation. When it comes to light, don't be surprised if several layers of administrators are involved.

Here's some fun.  Open up usmpride.com in several different windows and you hear Doty coming at you from all angles a few seconds apart in each one.  It's like a house of horrors, only worse.  You can get a true feel for how corrupt he is.

The Moderator can verify that I am not "CoBer2," "Inside the CoB," "Disguster former doner [sic]," "Disguster," "Former Doner [sic]," "CBA Alum," or "jackie."

Doty's crooked as a barrel of snakes, and his administrative team is cut out of the same cloth. USMPRIDE is shining a light that needs to be shone.

To add fuel to the fire, I'm pretty sure that USM-Gulf Coast pays rent to the Foundation for using the old Garden Park hospital building as a classroom and administrative center. In other words, USMGC revenues go directly to the Foundation, not visa versa. The revenue flow is reversed from what would seem to be the norm. At least that is my understanding of the arrangement.


Can anybody clarify this? Am I correct?
