Runaway Jury was on TNT tonight. Appearing in a minor role was a USM alum,actor Gary Grubbs. Just curious. Several years ago Grubbs was on of Giannini's major supporters. Has he been visable among the Thames cronies?

gary grubbs may have been in the movie. do you mean him or mack grubbs, the car dealer who has an operation in columbia, ms?

No, I mean Gary Grubbs. His daughter was enrolled at USM. Don't know if she graduated. I think she was a theater major and in the Honors College. Wonder if he's related to the car dealer. His degree was not in theater, but he's made a living in TV and movies.

his daughter graduated and is in graduate school at UT-Austin. this was discussed a long time ago--he is apparently not related to mack grubbs. the giannini connection is more likely to be mack grubbs.
